The first time I saw V or Kim Taehyung, his real name, my first impression is on how beautiful and confident he was especially when he was strutting the magenta carpet of Billboard Music Awards. He was tanned but still very attractive. What I also realized was on the perfect symmetry of his face. Thankfully, not only I also noticed that but many in the ARMY fandom who considered Tae to have a very proportional face. Now my first bias in BTS gained more worldwide recognition when he was placed as the #1 Most Handsome Faces in the World in 2017 list by TC Candler. And I was ecstatic to find out 2 days before his birthday on December 30. So basically, the list posted on YouTube was published on December 28, 2017. I would consider it one of the early birthday gifts for the popular member of BTS. I have been gushing on his looks and how ethereal he really is.

BTS fans have been the sweetest of all the Kpop fandoms these recent days. And it's all because of Jimin, more specifically for Jimin's birthday on Friday, the 13th. Fans have really made the day special for Jimin by gifting him in various ways including a "Jimin" bus and Billboard ads dedicated for the well-loved BTS member. I woke up midnight PH time, missing the BTS comeback countdown. Though a bit remorseful, I was glad watching the first time Her Serendipity comeback trailer featuring Jimin in solo. I got so addicted to it that I watched it many times while complaining about the freezing view count on YouTube. I also watched other reactions videos from YouTubers and I was like watching over 10 now from different time zones and different races. Really, the world is united because of BTS. BTS are among the hottest Kpop boy bands in the planet. And the number of fans in the Philippines is also among the highest in the world. To show how popular BTS is in the Philippines, Twitter Philippines has placed the BTS-related hashtag #EpilogueInManila as the 5th most popular hashtag trending in the Philippines for Twitter's 10 years of existence. The hashtag #EpilogueInManila happened in 2016 when BTS held one of the largest concerts at Mall of Asia Arena. To think that the hashtag is more popular during the Papal visit in 2016 proves the potential power of BTS in the Philippines in entertainment stardom. BTS also held the Wings tour in Manila this year at May for two days on May 6-7. BTS is Kpop's biggest sensation today. The septet hip-hop group is not only popular in their home country South Korea, but also internationally. It has made big waves in East Asia and the Pacific and it is now also bringing more waves in North America, especially in the United States. Cebu City will host the first Pasigarbo sa Pagkatawo this year on December 1-3. This will be a momentous event for the LGBTIQ community in Cebu and in the Visayas as this event potentially brings visibility to the community, something I have dreamed about to happen in Cebu, being a secret member of the community. Cebu may have an active LGBTIQ community but it is not something really felt. Perhaps, it might be because the LGBTQI's are more accepted here. The blogging communities in Cebu are also composed of LGBTIQ persons, myself included. But not all are out and mostly discreet. Bangtan Boys has formally announced its September comeback through a series of videos titled "Love Yourself Highlight Reels." The boys utilized their acting chops alongside young actresses that are reportedly trainees and idols from other Kpop groups and entertainment agencies in South Korea. Prior to the highlight reels, BigHit through its official Twitter and Instagram accounts released teaser posters of Love Yourself concept, giving the ARMY's ideas and glimpses of what to expect during the BTS comeback on September.
