What the Bangtan Boys (BTS) think about the Philippines

BTS are among the hottest Kpop boy bands in the planet. And the number of fans in the Philippines is also among the highest in the world. To show how popular BTS is in the Philippines, Twitter Philippines has placed the BTS-related hashtag #EpilogueInManila as the 5th most popular hashtag trending in the Philippines for Twitter's 10 years of existence.

The hashtag #EpilogueInManila happened in 2016 when BTS held one of the largest concerts at Mall of Asia Arena. To think that the hashtag is more popular during the Papal visit in 2016 proves the potential power of BTS in the Philippines in entertainment stardom.

BTS also held the Wings tour in Manila this year at May for two days on May 6-7. Prior to the concert in Mall of Asia, many reported that the Kpop boy group arrived in Manila earlier at May 1 after their concert in Jakarta, days before their MOA Wings concert. The speculation of the early arrival may have something to do with the shooting of BTS Summer Package 2017 at the beautiful Coron, Palawan.

Despite the beautiful scenery, the boys find the extreme heat of the tropical paradise unbearable. This video tells more of what the Bangtan Boys think about their excursion in Coron, Palawan in the Philippines.

I haven't been to Palawan or even in Coron, but it is included in the my bucket list. It's understandable that at the specific month that BTS went there, the summer heat was really scorching.

This is where they went to.

Philippines is a tropical country where heat can be experienced in many days of the year when it is not raining and the monsoon and typhoons are not wrecking havoc on certain locations and islands.

BTS Summer Package Vol.3 was released during the week of the last airing of BTS Bon Voyage Season 2 in Hawaii on August 2017.
